2003 - Katia Roberto and Jessamyn West release Revolting Librarians Redux, a sequel to 1972's original Revolting Librarians.
"Revolting librarians aren‛t defined by what they are, they are defined by what they do. In fact, it‛s not even what they do, but how they do it." Katia Roberto and Jessamyn West, in the Preface
A sequel to 1972's original Revolting Librarians, Redux works on many of the same themes: stereotypes of librarians, poor pay in the field, language and libraries, the necesity of library school, and opposition to the mainstream or status quo of the library world. In this work post-911 intellectual freedom issues are discussed in many of the pieces, as well as how the times have a-changed since the original work was published.
Many famous names appear, for table of contents and other info about the work, see: http://www.sanfordberman.org/biblinks/revolting.html
